Another Zofran question...

by Lissac67, Apr 05, 2003 12:00AM
Thank you for your response. I feel much better hearing this.  I do have a couple of other questions regarding the Zofran.  You said you need a bit more information about how I have been taking it. I have been taking it for about 4 1/2 5 months at this dosage, 8 mg 3 times a day.  Could withdrawal happen after this length of time?  Also how long should the withdrawal symptoms last? I will talk to my doctor about this, but she doesn't think Zofran can cause this.  I am going back up the 3 doses at 8 mg a day and see if I feel better in a few days. Then I guess I am going to try a slower taper.  What type of a taper would you recommend from this medication?  I am having severe constant pvc's lately, so if they get better, I would like to avoid this issue. You also mentioned before of other medications my doctor could give to help with the symptoms. What might some of these be?  I am 23 weeks pregnant so it needs to be safe for the baby.  Thank you so much!
