Anybody else ?

I have never had anyone to talk to about my addiction , I have spent the last few months stalking the Internet reading posts trying to feel less alone .. About 6 weeks ago I caught a bug from a friend resulted in coughing wheezing fever all that took 3 or more weeks to get rid of and I smoked the whole time , at one point I couldn't take a step without running out of breath , when I started to get better I started working out scared to death from my experience I wanted to get healthy but continued to take the pills and smoke. About 2 weeks ago the cough came back sporadically and I started having strange pains between shoulder blades severe stomach bloating and just all over feel weird, I started obsessing about dying every little symptom I had I obsessed about dying cried to My girlfriend that I was dying who would take care of my kids?! Can the pills cause thus obsession and anxiety ? Can the midsection bloating be caused by the pills? Has anyone experienced this or am
I alone? This is one of the major reasons I'm quitting .. I want to live

percocet will interfere with digestion. It will make you constipated, which may be the cause of bloating. They could also be screwing with your head. Usually opiates make people feel happy and euphoric. Personally they always made me sleepy. I prefer hydrocodone. But anyways, if you are abusing them, and you feel that it's time to quit, then it probably is. I think that you should talk to your doctor, and maybe get a therapist for your obsession with dying. It sounds like youre in a terrible place, but there is a way out. You did the right thing by posting here. Its a step in the right direction.

I'm taking Percocet , went to the dr he said may be my gall bladder I figured that would be the lesser of all the evils it could be had my ultrasound done today on all my organs and everything came back normal . Yes I smoke doubly so with the pills. Of course I want to quit. Dr says lungs sound clear as a bell ( whatever that means lol) I pretty much have myself convinced I have something fatal ...because if I look up my symptoms .. Oh boy well that's another story . Was just curious if anyone noticed stomach bloating or random pain with long term use

What sort of pills are you taking? Are you smoking cigarettes?  Yes pills can cause anxiety but i would get ahold of your doctor and have a checkup also.

What kind of pills are you taking? And have you looked up the side effects of the medication that youre on? You might want to go the the doctor and get a physical exam, that might ease your mind a lil bit. You are not alone. There are a lot of people here that will support you. Just let us know whats going on so we can help.
