Anyone get weight gain from years of vicodin?

Does it take alot of time for my body to start working like it use to?  I have gained weight from taking way too much vicodin for 10 years (up to 25 a day).  I tapered for 3 weeks and then stopped about 3 weeks ago but I don't think my metabolism has caught up.  I exercise 3 or 4 days a week and hardly ever eat!  I'm just not hungry at all.  When I do eat, it's healthy -like apples or fruit but I can't seem to get this weight off!  Does anyone know how long it takes???

I found it took a little while to kick start my metabolism but once it got going all of the weight came back off .I did a series of videos by a lady name jeri love she uses free weights and aerobics it kicked my butt .got me back on track now I don't have to do it and I can maintain my weight . I do think that the meds slowwwwed me down.

I guess everyone's different.  When I started taking the vicodin I actually lost weight- I think bc I was never hungry bc of them.  Then when I took SO many I think my body slowed down.  Any advice?

Some gain, some lose. Some gain after quitting. A good idea is to get a checkup. After 10 years of using, many things can be wrong, like Thyroid etc
