Peep this -- I just baked (from scratch) 3 apple pies.  I haven't done that in at least 15 years.  My house smells really good!  If you all were here I'd share a slice w/ya.

Yummmmy!   I can smell it from here in Cali!    I am so glad to hear about those little (or not so little) things that we return to doing that makes us who we are.  

And I'll bring some ice cream too, sounds like we have a group of ala mode folks here! lol!

I made homemade pumpkin bread (from a real pumpkin!).  Isn't a great feeling to be productive?

Ive been baking like a fiend too. Pumpkin bread most recently and of course the chicken and dumplings, lol.   I just bought some more bisquick/baking mix and am thinking of making peach or apple cobbler with that tonight..
