My name is Elizabeth- been going by Lizzyloo who? for 25 years.

To anyone who will read: I am not "stealing" anyone's name here! I did a google search to get some help with my addiction and to know that I'm not the only one who has a hard time saying "no" to a good buzz. I do not know anyone on this site and I aplogize to Lizzie Lou who thinks I am "stealing" her name. I just wanted to talk to some people with the same types of addictions.

Thank you to all who replied to me in an informative and motivating manner. The posts with information and kind words really helped me. I'll keep working off the nervous energy with some walks with my husband. I hope you all recover fully. I don't know any of you, but we all have one thing in common...being human.

Addicts are sooo sensitive, things like that could have sent that addict back out......back out...to a world of nothing..

Its hard enough for someone to reach out for help..but to be jumped on that like that too...hola ****.....its disgusting...

I try to say over and over and over again on this baord....WIth a postive apporach....ADdicts are so senstive as it is.....without having **** like this thrown at them...or little digs that we see ont he board about past memebers....

If somenoe trying to attack me, I would walk away...and ignore....not saying it wouldnt bother me because it would...but I wouldnt board cast that on this forum, there are some things that I have learned that shouldnt be shared publically.......that would be one of them...

If somoene came and took a name so simlar to mine.......oh well...there is alot of different people in the world and how do I know....ITS A NAME......

Doesnt mean I own it...I will not sit by and just watch this stuff....What happened was wrong......way wrong......and I will always stand by my thoughts and be true to myself as much as I can, I cant do that here....

Hey, I call my three year old daughter Elizabeth 'lizzy lou' and 'lizzy loo who'  and her middle name is ROSE. Don't have any idea where the 'lou' even came from. Probably the 'grinch who stole christmas' I think. lol
Don't know why I posted that...lol...it just came to my mind, and I figured I'd share it with ya!  :) :) :) Its funny when my daughter tells me her name, though: ahem:.... "Wizzy Woooo' lol   She's really gotta work on those "L's" .......

Sorry if we made you feel that way....we just recently had some drama on the forum with people using others names and I think people are just a little sensitive and wary of people...please don't take it personally.  And most importantly....Welcome to the Forum! This is a great place to get and give help to people who are struggling with addiction or loved one's who are addicts!  This place was a godsend to me and many others who are trying to recover from this awful affliction!  Please keep posting here and let us know what we can do to help?  OK???

Thank you all so much. I almost just wanted to post that and leave...find another addiction site.

I'm tapering I guess. I really don't have a dosage....just take them towards the evening when my day starts to get hectic...taking care of my 87 year old father in law, 4 step kids...job....school...etc. The pills calm me down and I deal with things so easily! I never really knew anything about pills...I had experimented with them during my hard party days, but never took them on a "regular" day. Monday was the first day in two months that I did not take one...and that night I thought I was going nuts...I was soooooooo restless! I was still that way on Tuesday, all day long. So I took 2 last night about an hour before bed. I calmed down and slept great (of course) I just took 1 for my school night tonight. Taking 2 or less is better than the 5 to 6 I was popping.

Thanks for all of your support and kind words. Could anyone tell me the physical side effects that they have experienced besides obvious addiciton and withdrawal...such as liver damage, or other side effects...I'm so curious.

Welcome!  I am glad you stuck around!  I have had SEVERE stomach pain as a side effect from taking so many vicodin and all the tylenol.  I used to take at least 30 pills a day and during that time, I would wake up in the middle of the night with stomach pain that was so intense that I almost went to the ER several times.  The only reason I didn't is becasue I was afraid to tell them how many pills I was taking.

See what you all get for assuming things! I mean we could have very well sent someone on their merry old way and not come back here and get the support they need..and all you guys can do is say your sorry, it is becaus  of drama.....Im a bit disappointed....actually alot disappointed....

I think next time...and I keep saying it time after time after time...JUST BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER!! Just send positive messages and if it isnt someone who is who they are...we will see that in time....but not just to jump on someone that leaves one post....

And I say this, not because I want to rub it in...I say it because we could have very well sent someone out back....to whatever lifestyle they lead...
