BECAREFUL WITH LTYROSINE

Hey everyone this is just a reminder if you are taking a MIAO or a TRYCILIC ANTIDPRESSANT do NOT take L'tyrosine.... It can cause a dangerous spike in blood pressure .

What about with Wellbutrin XL? It says not to take that with an MAOI & it's considered a SSRI. Do you know if it's okay? Thanks!

Okay, now I'm scared! I just read something that said to not take Wellbutrin if you have been taking Valium or Narcotic Pain medications & suddenly stopped. I think it can cause a higher risk for seizures. What's gonna happen when I stop taking the narc's???? Any suggestions PLEASE!!! I recently moved to a new state, I have no doctor & no insurance & I need to stop taking these pain meds ASAP. Thanks for listening!

My Husband is taking time off starting Wed. That's gonna be the BIG DAY! I'm sooooooo scared, but you guys are living proof that it is possible & I an soo ready & have been ever since I found this site. I just hope I'm gonna be okay & that my marriage will survive. If you have not started the wellbutrin wait for about a week after detox then start it .... wellburtin can lower your sezuire threshold

This is good info to post.  I would add that I had a ND told me to take it. We did so with caution and a little at a time. No huge doses.

I believe what can happen when on anti-depressants and then adding these other things is called serotonin response. The bottom line is that you get too much effect. Not good for you.
