BIG CELEBRATION - 3 YEARS!

One of our Community Leaders is celebrating 3 years today!! Let's give Avis a big hand!!!

I came to this community a little over 3 years ago and Avis was one of the first members I had the privilege of meeting. She had been clean about six months at that time and we just gravitated toward each other. Over the last 3 years we have seen each other go through ups and downs in our personal lives but through the miracle of recovery, she is still here today to celebrate a milestone.

For those of you who don't know her---she is a warm, kind and caring person. She gives freely of herself to help every addict who is struggling with this disease. For those of you who do know her---well, what can I say, you already know what a great person she is.

I am so very proud of you Avis. I am proud of how you stuck it out and fought to be where you are today and most of all I am proud to call you my friend.

Thank you everyone ....I was a mess when I first came here.I didnt even now how much at the time .With the help of the members here and with my therpispt and time .I slowly put myself together I will always be a work in progress I will always have to work everyday and I will alwaays need everyone one here.

There are two members .I wanted to thank personally .IBK I met at a very low point I had just come off 6 months clean to waste on a three week relapse . She was just starting her detox and we kind of helped each other and we still are to this day ..That's friendship that hard to find off the Internet let alone on ...

Sara is another we didnt did know each other right at first. Tt was a more of a slow and steady thing that happened in time and we realized how much we had in common and that the other was there just to listen if that what the other needed I am a very blessed person.

your like a rock to this community solid with a heart full of love for the fellow addict
you alway have inspiring things to say to everyone...you also say what needs to be said
