Hi.  It sounds like we have a lot in common.  Oxycontin, significant others also addicted, all money gone before gotten, meaner than a snake, totally changed.  I have been taking "the devil" for about 1 1/2 years, before that it was lessor opiates.  I had two back surgeries in 2003 and things have gone down hill from there.  I am starting Suboxone on Monday.  I have two children and cannot be sick with w/d as well. Also not a good candidate for taper b/c I don't have a while lot of willpower these days.  I am petrified but will let you know how it goes.  I believe I have convinced my husband to also go.  At this point we really don't have a choice.  The place I am going also makes you complete weekly therapy sessions w/ a shrink which will be so great.  It will be nice not to think of outrageous lies all the time.  I think my husband and I will do counseling together as well which is much needed after a year of fighting.  OC can kill a relationship.  How long have you been taking?  Let me know if I can help with anything. Over the past few days, I have begun to strongly consider going the suboxone route.  I have a 2 year old and am a single mom in college full time and going c/t really just won't work.  I have tried so many times but cannot get past day one of the debilitating w/d's.  
I am very interested in hearing how your suboxone treatment goes.  Please let us know!!!

Thanks.  I am excited about starting something that could potentially end this misery.  I'm not even looking forward to the mild w/d I have to start today until 8;30 tomorrow.  Im such a wimp.  SIngle mom in college, hu?  Very impressive.  Since having my children any woman who is in a situation to raise children by herself has to be one of the strongest people.  You really must have it all together.  How did you get mixed up with this?  I'll let you know after my appointment how it goes.  Keep me in your thoughts, and I'll do the same.
