Back from the doctor..

Well I have a hole in my foot.. its still numb luckily.. and starts to bleed whenever it so pleases.. hopefully it will only be mildly uncomfortable.. I took tomorrow off so I could stay off of it.  The two on my face were razored off and will be sent to be tested as well as the one on my foot. I am sure they will call me when the results comes back..

I also finally have a chiropractor appt tonight so hopefully some of this neck pain can get straightened out...\

Other than that Day 18 here.. off of Sub detox and day 28 off of hydro.. feeling good, no depresssion, sleeping well.. I have had it easy since I started the amino acid program.. it really is making me more mentally healthy.. I have member CATUF to thank for that..

What addicts don't realize about pain meds....

NSAIDS over long term are much more effective for pain than narcotic pain pills.

Narcotic pain pills are for instant temporary relief and severe pain such as cancer patients etc......

you have a whole in your foot thats real but the addition in you will try to justify that you now have a legitamate reason to use again......fight that and take a couple of Motrin 800's or something..tough it out the pain will go away....

It is good that your going to the doctor for your neck pain......your on the right track girl.....keep your focus......

Are you going to N/A or some other support group or conselor.......

I have found a group here for pill addicts... Its 3 times a week.. I am in the process of changing the hours I work so I can go.. Will take a couple weeks til I can go to all 3 but I hope to attend one this week and then once I get my clients that are already scheduled based on my old schedule shifted around a little should be easy to go to all 3..

I also attempted to find a therapist of some sort but where I live there are not many that don't just hand out pills... talk therapy isn't the norm around here I was told.. There are only 3 docs and they don't take insurance only cash and it was quite expensive.. so I am gonna keep looking..

Hopefully the chiro will get me back on track.. with the wedding and everything I got off of my normal schedule of going..

As far as the pain in my foot... I am not worried I will take narcotics.. I was worried that the pain would produce cravings.. I have been lucky not to have any..

When will you get the results of the biopsy?  It's good you are starting to take care of yourself and doing things for you that are long overdue!  

Stay off your feet and watch some good movies!
