Breaking out into Hives after W/D

I have been off Vicodin for 9 days. I was taking about 10-12 a day. The last 3 days, I have been breaking out into hives all over my arms, legs and hands since Friday. My skin feels like it is constantly itchy and if I itch the hives are really bad. I'm curious if this has ever happened to anyone before or does anyone know what this could be.

humm I would think its more likely to be something you have been in contact with in the last 3 or 4 days .The problem is that it could be almost anything have you started using anything new soap,lotion,detergent? Anything taking any new meds ?

This is about the 5th time I have read this from other posters? I dunno ....maybe there is something to it.....Nerves? maybe. But, I have read this before.

I would try benedry lotion.....it works well. If it persist.......definitely see a doc.
