A woman came on yesterday and posted the following question and got no replies:

"I no that this is for those that are already clean but my husband is useing something he keeps putting warm water in a cup and I found a needle but I don't know what the warm water is all about I was once addicted to pills but don't know much about other can you please help me find out what this is that he is useing please help me before it get worse".

No one really replied to her and she sent me a message as I was one of the only ones who responded, being that everyone was too busy arguing. Can anyone help this woman. I don't really know what she is talking about here. My DOC is pills...

Thanks guys. This woman seemed pretty desperate. I feel bad that I can't really help her. My DOC was pills, and I only ate them. So I can't be of any help. Thanks for the answers and hope she sees this..

Some folks use warm water to dissolve methadone, it helps it dissolve quicker, but that doen't explain the needle.  Also if it were methadone there would be a white or orange film on the inside of the cup.

I am sooo sorry that I missed that post! Not sure that I would of been any help due to I no nothing about that either but I am sorry that I missed it!
I think everyone here needs to just stop arguing and concentrate on helping! I think someone here hit it on the head when they said that an argument can't take place if no one acknowledges it. Instead of arguing, just overlook it, don't keep replying to it and getting it all riled up, if you have a problem with something that someone said then PM that person about it, don't do it here on the board where people are trying to get help and answers.

people also use warm water to extract pills to shoot up....suboxone, oxy...etc....  but, sheri is probably more accurate..

Tell this woman that it sounds like her husband is using heroin.  I know someone who use to shoot up and she used warm water to mix with the heroin to put it in liquid form so it's injectable.  If it is heroin, he needs to get help IMMEDIATELY as heroin is a life killing drug.  It's EXTREMELY addictive, and it QUICKLY becomes addictive.  I'm not saying its absolutely heroin, but that is what it sounds like to me.  Hope this helps.
