Can anyone recall those two suggested pills? Benzoid something...

I am going to the store today to stock up on the things people have recommended here. I am going to get a multi vitamin. And I called the pharmacist about the zophran and phenergean and he told me they require prescriptions and that they are antihistimines. He said one is so strong it used to be used for mental patients. Someone on here gave me the name of two pills and I wrote them down. One was something like benzoids or something. In any case the paper is gone and I can't find the thread ... ?...I think you call it. The pharmacist recommended cola syrup and I'm pretty sure that is not going to work. Since I know him I told him it was for a friend. In any case can anyone recall that thread or what those other two things are? I am going to taper down to Norco tomorrow and then try nothing as of monday. Hopefully I will be able to take nothing. But if I get horrible cramping I will probably have to take a couple norcos from time to time. But I am really dreading the nausea again so I'm wondering if I should just buy the very strongest antihistimine. It sounds like that is a common product recommendation.

Hey!!   Okay...LOL.   I don't tend to recommend the L-tyrosine just for that reason. It's
contraindicated with a few conditions and some meds and I don't want anyone to get sick.  So many people have MVP and don't know it...

How are you doing now ?...it's been a few days.

It was L tyrosine that someone recommended. Thank God I couldn't recall. I finally figured it out as I wrote it down a stuffed it in my purse. It is REALLY bad for you. It's supposed to release all these dopamines but after researching it I discovered multiple horror stories of heart damage. I have a mitral valve prolapse. That would have really done me in. It's probably reat for people with no heart issues in really small dosages.

Okay...all I see is the phenergan and zophran.  Trust me, you don't "benzo" anything!

Phenergan works great but needs an rx. The other thing that works is an otc called Dramamine.  Coke syrup works amazingly well,if you can gag it down.  LOL
Sometimes, just sipping on Coke or Pepsi(without ice) helps the nausea. Also, hot peppermint tea is great!!  Get some of that.
Good luck and keep posting~
Vicki

PS :  Was it Benadryl?

You are probably talking about benzodiazepine, benzos. Please know that they are very addictive and that you can't get off of them just like that, you have to taper them down coz there's too much risks of seizure.
What I'd do if i was you is get some melatonine, it's OTC, safe, natural and cheap.
Best of luck to you on the tapering.
