Can recovered bulimic take zyban?

Hi, I have recovered from bulimia and am now wanting to quit smoking. I have made several attempts of varying lengths of stopping, usually with the patches but I've always just taken them off and ended up smoking again. I was wondering that now I have overcome my eating disorder would I be able to take zyban or does the effects of my past ED still have an affect?
