to my knowledge, suboxone is not detectable in the usual urine toxscreen. I would guess that there is a way to test for it specifically in blood/urine? However - it probably costs big bucks so I don't believe they would do it. He may be saying this to try to keep you accountable. Good luck.
LOL....I agree....now mcray, Maybe he would make u go in and bring your pills, and count them....But to say to test and see how many milligrams is in your system is just nuts!!!
r2r
Yey....does sound kinda strange to me for a doctor to tell u that...he kinda sounds like a tyrant! LOL
Because I got prescribed suboxone and the doc told me he would test to see exactly how many mg of suboxone was in my system. I thought it sounded like ********.
He is allowed to call me at any time and make me take a random urine test. That's unreal, but I have to comply because I need the subs.
There is no test that can test for exact amounts that someone took orally...it can be a high level or a low level but everyone's metabolism is different and lots of things affect urine content such as kidney function , water intake etc...why?
No, sorry. I meant, can my doctor who prescribes me suboxone test for the actual milligram count of suboxone in my system? Or just see if it's present?
Suboxone does not show up on a typical urine test. I think they would have to do a special test for it to show up.
