well, you probably could, but why? then you'll wake up w/ a hangover and still feel like s**t...have you tried the hot baths, heatingpad, stretching, and or exercising? I get considerable relief w/ these options..although the exercising is the hardest to do

You have not had a hang over until you've had one without the pills.

I'll say it again go to family doc. It will cost u $60. Tell him ur detoxing. Get 10 Valium for night it will get u about 4-5 hrs. Then two week supply of Xanax for day time. Then follow up with him. Cuz u will still have insomnia. Then they can give u lunasta for anotherr week or two. Which the doc probably has samples he can give. Do this eat fruit, boost shakes. Five days u will start to feel better. Do it!!!

I've use a small amount of alcohol when in withdrawals to take the edge off. In some ways it helped...in others it made it worse. (I never drink normally, so if you're a regular drinker I can't say if it makes a difference).

Drinking to pass out sounds nightmarish to me, based on what I went through.

yeah, i think you'll be pretty ill if you drink to pass out..  a shot at most, to take "the edge off."  at most..

but i do think a valium could help.  also, there a thing at the market called Calmes Forte that is like a homeopathic "vailum" and that might help too..
