Can't sleep.

Well its 5:37 am and haven't slept a wink but grateful that I dont have any anxiety so far.  I can sleep anytime so I am just trying to relax and go with it.  But it really is brutal.  How many others can't sleep??

i too didn't sleep much last night.  feel asleep at 9pm and woke up at 12am and never went back to sleep.  Plus I had to work all day! Yay!  I was shocked on how my attitude was.  I was in a very good mood all day.  I too am starting to feel my withdrawls decrease but still no energy. Day 9 off Subs and almost half way there to the longest I've been clean 2 years!  Can't wait till I get a 8 hour night of deep, dreamless sleep.  Yes it's gonna get better!

Managed to get a few hours sleep.  Still really tired and going to try and get more.  I would do a happy dance for day 6 but yawn, sneeze, I just can't right now.  Most of the withdrawals are gone so it's only going to get better from here.  Right????

Pat, i remember stumbling across this quote during one of those sleepless nights during detox....

“If a man had as many ideas during the day as he does when he has insomnia, he'd make a fortune.”

LOL!  Try not to stress over the sleep disturbances too much. I know it can become a desperate feeling though.  This part will be over too.

I hope you have managed to get some sleep! For me, the sleep issue is the toughest part of this! I still have periods of time where I go through sleepless nights and restlessness! It does get better, and I've found that exercise is really the best medicine! The sleep issues do get less and further between periods! Take care, you've done amazing!

Did you walk in your pi's again? Ha! Hope your sleeping now. Remember a hot shower or bath does wonders. Also some soft music. Hey if you want I'll have my husband call and talk to you, his chatter always lulls me to sleep. (kidding).

Well I went for a walk around the block to see if that would help.  It's so nice and cool out right now.  I would have gone further but I didn't want too many people to see me lol.
