Whew! What a day.. crazy. and then to top it off when I got home finally.. my hubby said something stupid and hurtful without thinking it through. boy is he paying for it..

i hope everyone had a good day.. I will be around for a bit. watching my favorite vicodin addicted doc on tv..

By the way.. does anyone know if it is legal for an employer to ask what medications you take?? we have a new employee handbook and i was reading through it and they wanna know what meds we take. can they do that?? doesn't sound right to me.

I think it they make you submit to drug testing, they can ask that of you.  That way if a certain drug shows up, you don't get it trouble.  Now I'm not sure about this but I seem to have heard this somewhere.
Did you get my answer about the Wellbutrin?

we have never had drug testing.. its a hair salon for god's sake.. half my co workers are pot smokers.. I just thought it was weird.. i am not comfortable having everyone know my personal business.. like what anti depressant I am on and whether or not I take muscle relaxers..

I know for me the speedy feeling didn't go away.. i didn't want to eat either.. and I am a small person so losing weight like that was bad. the headaches were the worst though.. couldn't take it..

Well I don't think they have that right either.  I think my son's girlfriend worked at Emer-One for a short time and they put them thru periodic drug testing.  But on the form, you had to list the drugs you were currently taking.  Sounds like your employer is just being nosy.

I feel the same way.. they are nosy.. we recently had a girl work with us who ended up quitting.. she had MS and was on a bunch of meds and was sometimes kinda dopey due to this.. I over heard them saying if they would have known about the meds they would not have hired her.. thats not a cool thing to say.  i think they are trying to find a way to cover their back sides in the future..
