Checking in! Three weeks!

Hey, I realized it's been a minute since I checked in, so I thought I'd let ya'll know that I didn't disappear because I relapsed or anything! I'm three weeks and one day clean today off suboxone! I've still got some detox symptoms, as the withdrawal from suboxone lasts pretty long... but it's mostly just the cold sweats, still kinda achey and tired sometimes, but it only comes on in waves, it's not constant. So glad I made it through! Like my sponsor said, anyone can deal with anything for just one minute, and now I've done it for 31,680+ minutes! I'm fired up! For anyone out there facing the withdrawal from suboxone, keep it up, you can do it! It is soooo worth it, and when you get tired know that a new life is right around the corner! Hope all is well with everyone, and know that I've been praying for ya'll, even when I don't get on here.

Wow, that's great...
I remember making it to 3 weeks, I thought it would take for ever. Now it seems like a long time ago 68 days for me on quitting tramadol cold turkey.
I promise,  it gets so much better.  I will have spells where I hurt but it doesn't last very long and only hits me every 5 or 6 days apart.
Keep it up,  we got this.

Congrats Smalltown! So glad you're sticking with it too! Thank you guys for your support! I will say my motivation/energy really ***** still, some days more than others, and that is probably the worst part for me because I used to give myself that boost to get stuff accomplished, rather than to escape reality, so the fact that I am struggling to keep up with life is really getting to me, but that's it, really.
