Hey Y'all! Today is a good day! A bit cold in this part of the country but still good! I am 62 days clean and grateful for each day that I am able to live drug free. How bout you? Post your progress. Looking at it in print makes it more real.

Comes and goes. I think the weather really affects me more than I knew before because I always took a pill. Like the Sheryl Crow song says "Every day is a winding road.... get a little bit closer to feeling fine!" I know that life is full of challenges and I just gotta keep getting up in the morning. Having more and more good days. I notice that I am better able to handle stress now that I'm off the drugs. Before I would get pretty wasted, taking pills and drinking. Never really knew how messed up I was. This forum has been a godsend.

14 days is awesome too! The acute withdrawals are over and now the work begins. Gotta find a way to cope with the day to day without drugs. It will present all sorts of challenges for you and you can take them and conquor them or you can hide behind those pesky pills..... Believe me, its worth it going through the pain so that you can truely feel the happiness. Keep up the good work!
