Chest Pain Breathlessness?

Chest Pain Breathlessness?

I did cocaine (i think, it could have been mdma or something else) by snorting 2 days ago and have been having some mild chest pains since (around the heart)

I have also found it hard to sleep since. Today i was reading in class (19 y.o) and i got kinda breathless and my voice went shaky or something.

I also have a weird beat to my heart.

Maybe its just that im thinking about it too much?

it was my first and LAST time, all it did was keep me awake, i have had my experience and hve no desire to do drugs again

That said, from what i have said, is it possible that i may have permanent damage, or should the symptoms subside after a few days?

I think you are over thinking it alot ,there is nobody on an addiction forum that can tell you medically what might be going on with your heart plz go see you doctor let them know u used and what is going on so they can get to the bottom of your problem....I am glad you are not going to do it again !!!

It sounds similar to what I just went thru(read prior posts) I think I pretty much overdid it 5 days ago and had a MASSIVE panic attack. Ever since then I had a panic attack everyday jittery heart rate high but didn't have one yesterday or today. Hopefully it's over. I think we stressed out our bodies to the max and it's trying to slowly recover. I took it as a warning and vow to quit cold turkey and never touch anything again, don't stress out like I did it will only make u feel worse, u will feel fine in a few days

You should both remember this experience VERY VIVIDLY.... keep it fresh in your minds ALWAYS... it just very well may be the scare you needed to make you stay clean from now on... every time you think about using.. remember what this time in your life was like, how scared you were, how your bodies reacted, and what you did about it... a friend told me one time ... sometimes good things can happen from bad experiences... this may be that bad experience for the both of you that can bring about a world of good... never forget what is happening to you now and maybe that will be your own "kick in the butt" to never never never use again... good luck to the both of you and I hope you feel better soon... have your dr check you out though just to be on the safe side of everything... maybe that would be an extra to the kick in the butt so to speak..

Not the chest pains but I couldn't sleep I think from paranoia try chamomille tea it's worked these past nights for me if u were having heart issues I think they would tend to be more below or between your shoulder blades back pains that kind of thing but I'm no expert

To me it sounds like anxiety probably from the drug wearing off. I had and still ocasionally have anxiety and panic attacks after being clean. From what I understand this was just one time you snorted coke so once it wears completely off you should be fine. Insomnia and chest pains do co-exist with anxiety but like avisg said you should see your doctor to rule anything serious out.
