Clean for 1 year!

Hello! I haven't really posted much on here lately. I wanted to stop by and let you all know on October 10th I was clean for 1 year. Its such an amazing freeing feeling. To everyone looking to get clean and to those going through withdrawal now, keep at it. When I was getting ready to go through the withdrawal someone on here gave me the best and truest advice. You just have to be ok with not being ok for awhile. And that person was 100% right. It gets better!

Newmember511 I changed my entire life. New people new places We moved out of the town we were living in. I think my mindset has alot to do with it. When I think about doing pills just once I remind myself of the dark dark DARK depression I was in immediately after I detoxed. I knew I had plenty of things that I should be happy about but I just couldn't find that happy feeling I can only describe it as darkness, as weird as that sounds. It only lasted a few days, until my brain started producing endorphins on its own but it was the lowest darkest id ever been and I never want to go back there.

Congratulations!!!! Wow that's huge and amazing! I am only on day 8, from tramadol. Had a good detox process, I felt strong and positive. Last few days have been hard. I actually just cancelled my refill at the pharmacy and no longer have access at all. I should feel so free and wonderful but I feel even more worried and anxious. How long did it take you to really feel OK ? I'm looking for some hope right now.

HEY HEY GIRL 1 year is ausum!!!! so glad you took the time to share that with all of us..it gives those still trying a ray of hope.....what have you been doing to stay clean????  anyway go out and celebrate those that make it a year can usually keep it going
