I was on 160 mg oxycodone per day and now I am only taking 80, I started that yesterday. I am feeling good so far. thanks for all you help.
I couldn't have done it without the clonidine. .1mg twice per day (right when you get up and right when you go to bed). It keeps your heart rate down, blood pressure down, and prevents most of the stomach cramps and I didn't have ANY RLS at all. It also causes constipation, which helps with the diaherria. Tried to quit twice before without it and couldn't do it. I would taper down as low as you can and start the clonidine as part of the taper...
I did not take clonidine...but most say it helped..some say it made them drag and very tired...BP is an issue if u have a low bp as a rule...u may be fine without it...usually people with high doses for a few years or more use it and say it does help with sleep and sweats etc...good 4 u....u are taking care of it quickly...smart move
Congrats on being pain free, and wanting off of the pain pills...What is your dosage now?
3 months is not a long time, you should do ok...Can you taper down without wanting to take more??? That would be the best way if u can do it that way...
Clonidine helped me alot...Talk to you doctor about it and maybe he can help you with tapering and the clonidine if you need it...
Good luck and god bless

I have heard it does a lot and some say it didn't do much, it's so hard to say, because i think it really depends on your addiction. How much/mgs of oxy do you take per. day? have you started weaning.....how much?
Nauty.........
I know it's a little slow @ today..I have never taken clonodine..but I have heard it helps a bit..as long as your blood pressure doesn't get too low..I am glad your surgery went well...last week??? wow..i am gald your doing good..someone will be along to answer your question..eventually..lol take care
