Cocaine Damage Help

Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me what surgical options are available for soft tissue erosion in the nose?

After heavy cocaine abuse for years I had the soft tissue in my left nostril eroded which in turn made my nose move to one side. Its really starting to depress me. I've read about septum deviation, but my question is more for the soft red tissue between your nostrils. is there any filler or graphs that can be done by surgery?

I'm no expert but I believe there are surgical options. They can repair a lot of damage now a days.....There are many options for where skin and tissue can be taken from and then grafted into the affected area. Go get a consult with a plastic surgeon. Start with your GP and tell him you want the problem fixed (if you have an HMO).
Don't worry, you can get help. Hopefully you are done with the drugs and are looking to get back on the right road. You need to get help with the drug abuse. NA or some counseling.....your pick.

Contact an ENT doctor.  They should be able to help.  How long have you been clean?

I've been clean for about a year now. April last year.

Never going to touch the stuff again.

Congrats on the yr clean , yes there is always something these days for surgery, suggestion ...focus on what is good happening like you have a yr clean. Lots of ppl never get to see that day..I know woman with no teeth, scars on there bodies etc ,I know for myself when I keep being clean as the most grateful thing in my life the other things like my disinigrating body , scars , brain damage all seem trivial , cause i get to see the sun rise and set , enjoy christmas with my family and most of all ,peace within  j34
