Cocaine in your sinuses

I am eighteen years old and I do not currently use cocaine. But about two months ago I was offered cocaine by a "friend" and I did lines all night long. I felt really bad the next day and told myself I wouldn't ever do it again. But sadly only a few weeks later the same kid offered me some and we did the same thing, blew line after line all night long. We probably did about 2-2.5 grams a peice. After that night I refrained form doing it for about a month. But when I did do it again (which was my las time) I did the same thing, lines all night long. Probably about 3 grams this time. By the time I did my last lines it was like i wasn't getting a drip anymore, like the cocaine stayed in my nose. The next day I noticed I had sinus pressure. It hurts right under my eyes. It feels like I have something stuck in there, or some kind of blockage. The weird thing is, I can breathe fine out of my nose.A couple days ago I went to the doctor for an MRI for something unrelated. He said when he looked at my sinuses it looked like the was some build up in there. Do you think the cocaine could have hardened in my nose and is just sitting in my sinuses? Should I mention my drug use to the doctor?

Hi late posting but my comment may help somebody, when I was a regular user I also had the same problem you described, wondered where it all went as my drip would stop (more common with cheap coke) then day my eye was constantly watery, and yes  it had worn through to my eye! So please as soon as you feel it stuck use water/nasal spray,  or like me STOP its a waste. Effects you mentally years after stopping.

Hi and welcome! This is a really old thread and these people are not around any longer. You may want to go back to the main page and hit the post a question link. Start your own thread and you will get more responses. I don't really have any experience with coke, other than trying it a few times a long time ago and not liking it. If your friend is having issues, he needs to go to the doctor. His visit will be confidential. Unless he is a threat to himself or others, or he is doing something illegal right in front of the doctor, the doctor must keep all of the medical records confidential. It's always a good idea to be 100% honest with your doctor so that you can receive the best possible treatment.

Did you go to the doctor and tell him you did cocaine?? What happened? Did he call the cops or did he help you? My friend is having this problem, too but he doesn't wanna go to the dr for fear of cops getting involved

Any good doctor will not call he cops, it's more common than you think for people to see a doctor and they get offered help, making things worse by arresting you, unless you went in there and said ' I'm dealing loads of drugs' etc

I started doing coke at the age of 16 or so - I was working in a bar and "friends" were giving it to me for free and tips.  It didn"t take long before I was buying a couple grams just to make it through my shift.  Stop now while you can before it steals your life away - cause let me tell you, you WILL regret it if you dont and soon.

K man, glad to hear your clean for a few weeks. It will be so hard to keep saying no to free blow tho, that is what I meant. I started off just like you, but it got me fast and my addiction progressed till I needed it everyday, I just don't want to see you make the same mistake I did.

Your so young and your future is ahead of you, so be careful. If it's still bothering you, then tell your dr, it could be an infection, I am not sure. Remember coke is cut with a bunch of other additives and they can do damage too. I wish you the best.

P.S. Have you ever had any problem with any other drugs or alcohol?

I don't do cocaine anymore AT ALL. I never did it alot but when I did do it i did a whole bunch because thats what the people i was around were doing and they were giving it to me for free. It has been about three weeks since my last night of doing it. And i still have the pressure. I was at the doctor two days ago when he told me I had some kind of build up in my sinuses. I really appreciate your advice.

Welcome to the forum. My first suggestion is you stay away from this friend, cocaine will take you down so fast and the mental addiction is crazy. It's my DOC and once you start, it's so so hard to stop. Trust me, don't go down this path please.

Yes there is buildup when you start blowing line after line, only so much can go down at once and sometimes it will just sit in the nasal cavity for awhile. I too had that pressure right under my eyes and in the nose and forehead during use and the day after. If you haven't been using like you say, I can't see it still being scabbed over and it would not be sitting in your nose after a day or 2. How long ago did you use? Please don't destroy your life to this drug cause it will.
