Codeine Side Effects and Addiction

Hi all,

Several months ago I got a bad back and my Doc prescribed
Co-Codamol (30/500). I didn't really take that many at the time.

About 4-5 weeks ago I started to get headaches and started to take these tablets without really thinking about it. I would guess that for 7-10 days I took upto 180mg per day. I started to suffer from some side effects (Nausia, Tiredness, Lighted headed) but went on Holiday before I got chance to find out what the problem was. Whilst on holiday I improved greatly and was back to my old self.

As soon as I got back to work I was on the drugs again and a few days later was back feeling worse than before. I finally worked out what the problem might be last Wednesday and stopped taking them. By Monday I was 80% better but I seem to have come to an impass. I still feel some of the side effects (tiredness and lightheadedness) 7 days later and was wondering (a) If this is normal, (b) How long do the side effects last and (c) Because of the amount I took could I now be over the side effects but be having withdrawal problems?

Thanks in advance

My Dearest,
Very true, Life is Beautiful and life is too short, don't make it shorter, one day or another day, sooner or later you will realize what have you done, at the time it will be too late don't make your life realize make the changes now you still have time you can still make your life more beautiful by taking the pills, If you can't quite take a help from your family/doctors nothing to be frightened or scared you should be scared of the future what your life will be you can do better than this, if you still keep on taking the pills misery life will be yours its foretell the fact, change it now before too late hope you understand.
