Codeine User trying to quit

Hi all ! first time posting in here though i have been checking these forums for quite some time now but just never thought necessary to post myself lol. anyway, to put everything aside to and to make y'all aware of what it is thats going on with me .....ill put it shortly .. im 23, been onto codeine for couple of years... (3, though im not too sure) and im from india. anyway, my codeine abuse is not through the regular stuff ive read in here like pills etc but through cough syrups available here easily (corex,lupicof,rexcof etc) and though i dont know how much of actual codeine ive been abusing on a daily ..... i would put it to roughly 4-5 bottles of these cough syrups a day which reads 10mg of codeine phosphate I.P. .

ive been trying to put it off for more than a couple of time over these years but being unsuccessful owing to the super easy availability of these drugs where im from. its so easy i can get it delivered to where im living to my flat 24/7 365(literally). and in my various attempts of kicking this habit off .... my withdrawals get the better of me because all i have to do is just go out the door for relief and i come to square one .....  the place im at right now is New Delhi... the capital of india ..... and like i said the availability ...too easy. and im not actually from this place but from some other place where availability is comparatively lesser. so every time i go back to where im originally from , i manage to kick it for a couple of weeks, and months even, at a stretch, though i hate the damn wtihdrarwls but when i come back to the place which i am right now (new delhi) i pick the habit up !!!! ive now been caught by my girlfriend and confessed my whole thing thats has being going on behind her back and since i really dont want to continue it , ive asked her to help me kick this habit for once and for all but she isnt aware of these sortsa stuff at all and in a way ignorant about how to help me. dont know how to go about it . but ill mention this much for now since i have so bloody much on my mind right now .

p.s. she let me have a bottle of syrup after 3 days or cold turkey to help ease my irritation. i wish i never ex[erienced codeine in the first place.

It sounds like you really need to focus on getting yourself off of this stuff once and for all regardless of the availability.  Will you be living in New Delhi long term?  Have you tried to cut down on your daily consumption?
