Cold Turkey off Fentora 800

I was taking this for cluster headaches and now I am up to 4 a day. My headaches finally let up and I stopped taking this only to find myself very sick. I still have a place to live, a job, a wife, etc but this stuff is dangerous. I am thinking about stopping today and rolling with it. My wife will NOT like this, she wants me to go to the doctor.  The other thouught I had is to go the doctor who gave it to me and just tell him I have become dependent on this stuff and want to get off. Maybe he can recomend a taper program. Does anyone have any experience with this medicine and withdrawing from it?

hey i know this is really late  but  before this relapse i was using for a good 2 years and was taking like 6 to 10 a day then i stopped but now im clean for   almsot 10 days goodluck my friend

Thanks for taking the time to write. This place is awsome. I am nervous about this but kind of excited as well. My headaches are almost completely gone. I had remission from HA in 2003 that lasted to 08 and I am hoping they are gone for good. The HA's were bad but being a slave to this crap is worse.

That is a pretty strong medication you are on. Cold turkey may be difficult. I like your thought to ask your doctor for a taper plan, that is always a safe way to go. He/she may even switch the medication for you and take your dose down properly.

Thanks so much. I read that it is very dangerous at these levels but I only have two speeds in life, stop and go. I quit smoking 5 months ago cold turkey and had virtually no effects.

How much were you taking and for how long?

well today will be my 4th day of roxys what i did was went cold turkey and it sucked for the first 3 days but it gets better trust me  all you gota do is roll with the punches and stay postive
