Craving,craving,.............and more craving

I am 47 days clean of my oxy habit and in general after day 20 or so I have felt OK.  But today for some reason I am having tons of cravings.  They come in "waves" about every 10-15 min.  They pass quickly, but they are wearing me down and are discouraging to my progress.  Any thoughts on why this is happening now.  Maybe it just goes with the territory!!

When you do drugs, little bits are left behind. They get deposited in your fatty tissue and stay with you for life! There is one way to get rid of this horrible affliction, so you can get back to normal. Take a vitamin called "Niacin" not too much because it will also deposit itself in your fatty tissue if you take more than recommended. Take a little it everyday, and go to the sauna as often as possible.

How it works is; The vitamin "Niacin" opens up your fatty tissue and releases all the toxins that have been building up all your life. Then when you sit in the sauna for a while you sweat it all out! That's the only way to get back to feeling normal!

Here's a rehab program that uses the same treatment...

i understand. It can be brought on my anything, or nothing. With me I crave alot when i am stressed out, in a social situation, but even when I am alone i think how enjoyable it would be to chalk up a pill. I crave them if I have alot of housework to do, they always gave me energy. oh, and if I am watching a movie and drugs are mentioned or if i see things being snorted, i really crave terribly. another bad thing I do is if i have a memory of something fun I have done in the last few years, places I have gone on vacation, etc. I really begin to crave, because pills were always involved. I almost think will i ever have fun again? then I realize i had a great life before snorting oxys all the time, i just need to go alot further back in my mind. i need to separate pills from fun, fun can be had without them.  does anyone else have this?

hi, turbo, so glad you're still doing  good..congrats !

mmm good apart from the cravings, of coursee :( but i think yu'r right, this is something that stays for quite a long time.. we can take them as part of the job :)

there are some posts about paws at the health pages, the more we know about them the better for us to be ready to  take cravings as they come...all in all it  goes better even with cravings!

I really don't know why the sudden urge, however once an addict the urge will alway linger.  Keeping yourself busy is the best solution.  I crave every day/  Good Luck
