Cymbalta Withdrawal?

Ive been taking cymbalata 30mg only for about a month now, I ran out early(having lost one of those litttle sample bottles), and have been out about 4-5 days.  The last 2 days ive been nauseous, cant even stand up or sit down without feeling like everything is going in circles, i have zaps about every 30sec like kind of make me confused for a split second. Even opening my eyes makes me nauseous and gives me a headache. Im not a person that cries regularly but ive been so nauseous and in pain ive bawled 4 times in 2 days.
The only other thing ive been taking is the lowest dose of ativan 3 times daily, ran out about the same time as the cymbalta, and started at the same time as cymbalta,

So my question is, is this some kind of withdrawal from either drug? I would think only one month wouldnt be long enough...

I take Cymbalta also, 60mg twice a day.  It has really helped me.  I do not run out of it either, I think it needs to be tappered-off.  So you may have some weird experiences with it.   I have no info on ativan,  if it's a benzo, then you need to be wary of weired head rushes, blurs, ect.  Benzos can do that to a person, I don't know about the cymblata, like I said, I have never ran-out sence taking it for abt 2 or 3 months now.

Jake, Hey I take cymbalta also, like the 60mg. I can only  take it at night b/c it is sooo strong.  I know at times if i miss a dose it is okay, But.. BUT if I miss a second days dose the side effects I have is unreal. I remember one time I had picked up a glass (just pop and ice) and within seconds it fell from my grip. I couldn't not hold onto the glass. this was weird, but only until that happend to me againt he next night I finally put two and two together and realized the only thing different was that I had run out of my Cymbalta as well.  It seems to be such a powerful drug to fight depression that I guess by not taking it, it can really cause strange things to happen to our bodies.  I swear after that, I made sure I did not ever run out again..I would maybe call your doctor to see if he had any samples, and I swear as soon as it gets into your body you will feel much better.. Good Luck!!! : )

Very dangerous to quit either of these drugs cold turkey. Although only one month on either isn't very long, you still probably have a mild dependency. I went off Cymbalta cold turkey (not knowing I'd deal with withdrawals), and had symptoms like yours, and quickly got back on and did a taper. I would imagine these symptoms will have passed by day 4 or 5, but again, it can be dangerous to quit these cold turkey....seizures etc. If you feel you might be headed for seizures or things get to bad, go to the ER ASAP.

It would be doubtful that cymbalts for a month would cause any probs...ativan however could be..i took cymbalta for 2 months and had bad side effects so I nquit   it takes a month or more for the drug to really take eaffect..ativan is very addictive however//a month is not that long to have wds from it but we r all different..so it is probably the ativan//maybe a combo..but if that is all and only for 30 days..it should not take long to feel better...do u have any prior addictions like to alcohol or narcotics or any other drug?
