DON'T LET ANYONE TAKE YOUR QUIT AWAY

Reading through the posts I have noticed some really bad replys to those who are trying to find their way out of their DOC or their addiction.  No consideration to the fact that we are all different and when we post we offer positive and encourageing posts.  We don't need to make others feel like their quit is hopeless, because it's not.  Please don't listen to garbage, just because one person feels like he will never be the same does not mean that for you!!!  I have been there and done that and I will tell anyone that "it's not easy but if you want out badly enough, it is doable".  Don't let anyone tell you different.  You don't have to live in hell!!  Your brain receptors are NOT dead, they were replaced by the drug for awhile and they DO start functioning after awhile!  No not believe the garbage, and doom sayers, they are here to bumb you out with their sickness!!

there will be negativism everywhere in life...and true some were depressed before using and is why they used..quitting may not take the original problem away that may have been there long before drugs or alcohol/for some issues arose in childhood...but even then, for those who reach out and grab the help and support that is out there...who feel up to doing the work it takes to become and stay clean..for those only the sky is the limit..and time heals

It's all about support, right?  So, great post!  We're all here for support and to give support!  We should be able to feel the love - but we should also be able to take it when someone is giving us the tough love - sometimes it's needed!  But, never let anyone tell you you can't do this!  YOU CAN!!!!
