Hi everyone and anyone. 3 months ago I took myself off vicodin es.,clonipan and zoloft.one by one by myself. I didnt want no help from no doctor, she is the one who put me in this place to begin with. anyway thats a whole nother story lets just say my doctor was my drug dealer.awaile after I got off the pills. for some stupid reason I still dont understand I got drunk real drunk! my bac. was almost 200:( believe me when I say I dont drink:(  I got pulled over really far from my house. I dont even remember getting in my car. I thank god that nobody was hurt, because looking back it is a complete miracle that nobody was.I got a dui of course, and when I went to court the first time they brought up a dui I had got 28 years ago when i was 17 I am 45 now.anyhow when the DA said 10 days with a cap on 30 I freaked! I CANT GO TO JAIL I will deal with the rest that comes with it but please no jail.Im going to be charged as 2 dui's. could have withdrawling from my pills( which I did and super bad)have anything to do with turning to alcohol and that much. I could have died just from poisoning.was I really trying to hurt myself? and why would I not think about the innocent people I may have came in contact with? IM going crazy over this I swear its haunting me.someone help anything even if you have to beat me up.

You need an attorney who deals with this kinf of stuff.  Each state has different laws.

a good lawyer can get these charges changed so you dont go to jail..my step=brother was in same mess and got out with no jail

Try Johnnie Cochran, he even got O.J. off, yours will be a cake walk....LOL. Seriously though, seek legal council, they'll help a lot!

A good aftercare program would help.  You said you had just come off pills.  Check out some sort of aftercare for yourself.  It is very common to switch up addictions.   Yes you are very lucky that noone was hurt but my concern is you doing something so it doesnt happen again.  All the best           sara

i agree with Sara, there is more seruios concerns here than jail

Cross addiction is very common.. I would be VERY CAREFUL  as you are subsituting one drug for another... as ALCOHOL is a DRUG...

Don't mean to sound so harsh but you already have had consequences from this behavior...Be safe.. DON'T DRINK  (and..most cetainly DON'T DRIVE)
