When you are withdrawing from darvon useage are you prone to seizures? I have been told that there are quite a lot of drugs that do that. What other side affects occur during withdrawl?

with any opiate there is always a possibility you could have a seizure .however this drug is not know to be one of the ones that do it often ,tramadol and benzos have a higher seizure rate . I would not be to worried about having a seizure coming off it.

AVIS!!! You're posting!! Glad to see you out from the dead.:)

I agree with Avis, that seizures are rarely a problem. If you are prone to seizures then you should taper. Preferably with a Drs help.

Why do you ask?  Do you feel you might have had one?  Did someone tell you this?  Just curious.........Are you talking about Darvon 65 the pink capsule or darvocet the pink tablet........Darvon 65 capsule is a bad news drug.  It's not very easy to get, as doc's don't really prescribe it anymore.  I used to get when I lived in Mexico Many years back.  You can't even get it there anymore...........

Nauty.............
