Day 1, better than I expected.

It's been a full 24 hours now off of my Percs. I've been down this road before and I know da 2-4 are usually the worst as far as WDs go...

I'm trying the Thomas Recipe; i just took 2mg ativan and it seems to have helped tremendously with the WDs. I only have 20 of these pills (1MG each) and doc/wife know about my issue and these were only given to ease my WDs...

Now, my question is, will the Ativan help during the toughest days of WDs? Or should i be expecting a lot worse than today? I'm actually not feeling TOO bad suprisingly...

Perc's Qty10-12 per day (5mg). I've been on and off them for about 1-2 years. In the past, i only took 6-8 per day, this last stint of about 2 months, i've been using pretty heavy of 10-12 per day 5/325).

Should I expect it to get much worse or is the Ativan helping mask the WDs? (i have taken ativan in the past, 1-2 weeks, never ever been hooked on'em).

I dont really know the answer to your questions about the Ativan as i have never taken that.  Am glad to hear your doc and wife know what is going on.  Having their support will help.  You can do this......the wd's wont last forever.  Are you getting any aftercare?  That is very important also........sara

Thanks Sara. I'm sure After care will be a big help, but ijst cant get myself to go for whatever reason...i'm hoping the support i get from here, my fam will help me beat this. Most importantly, my desire and commitement to stay clean....
