Day 10 of hydrocodien/Vicodin withdrawal!!!

I got up and active today, work and all my day to day stuff. Anyways felt pretty good all day I was wanting to get high off something but I didn't. Then I got home sat down and crashed (hard) instantly out of the blue for about 5 hours. Then got up for about 3 to 4 hours and fell back asleep for about 3 hours, and it is nor 5 am. So I'm going to try to do the same thing again today (as far as staying active) and just try to ware myself out, when I did that my RLS were basically gone. I even had chicken fish tacos and held it down so that was my first real meal in the last 10 days.So I'm going to continue this for a few days and see if it keeps working, hopefully does!!! Getting natural sleep was awesome, I usually wake up and my RLS is horrible this morning it wasn't, diarrhea is still here (not as bad though) so that's good. I finally think I'm about past the physical withdrawals I think in 3 or 4 more days it will be back to normal yesssss... The mental part I know will be a little trickier, but I figured having a few beers every now and then won't hurt after I get past week 3.. I'm going to try to start playing basketball everyday or get a bicycle or something lift some weight again. Just updating my status with a new clean post...

I thought I might do one of those narcotic anonymous classes once or twice a week once I get better stabilized and on my own two feet, a few more weeks atleast, you're not the first person to tell me about that on here... Idk where to begin on how to find a class for opiates. Anyways the craving for a high ***** (specially when your board or not doing anything) so keeping active will have to be a must.. Thanks for the reply

Glad to hear you are feeling better. I do wish you would engage in some sort of aftercare. You have a disease for which there is no known cure and it rears it's ugly head every chance it gets. One of these nights you may be drinking a beer (especially then) and the idea pops into your head that you can take "JUST ONE". And off you go. But no one can push you to do a recovery program. It needs to be your decision. I wish you the best and keep up the good work!!
