Me again -sorry.
I agree about the "hangover effect" of ambien. Tried it and dropped it.

Way to go.
I'm day 13 and wow the energy thing is a problem.
My therapist put me on Magnesium GYCONATE, Omega 3 (concentrated), 10,000 IU Vitamin D. This is my second time trying to withdraw and my energy is better this time around.
I figure my energy problem is temporary. I've been abusing for soooo long and I guess my body won't just return to normal right away. I try to go to the gym twice a week, I can hardly get through the hour and when I get home I collapse dead tired.
Take one day at a time, actually I live each moment at a time.
Keep the faith -we can do it.

Way to go Radio. This too shall pass
Radio ambien especially 2 can give you a major hangover. If you want energy to return give yourself some clean time away from narcotics. I took ambien for my first attempt of soberity for 3 or 4 days. I used after 14 days for a weekend. Went back into wds and got clean ct. I know you need sleep and taking ambien is much more desirable than exercise. But the easier softer way is not always best for us.
Just checking in Congrats I have7days today energy is low Sleep is minimal but stay with it.I am so gratfull I have not taken a drug for so long .This recovery detox was alot easyer in my 20 s and 30s But dude im in my 5th decade And I dont want to do this again Best of look, my prayers are with you
Sleep and energy are usually the last things to come back but it does. I know it is tough but when it does come back you will feel 110% better.......Hang in there sara
Radio, I am right there with you. Congrats on 12, man. You and i have botht struggled in the last days and we have dorn it! Day 13 today for me today. Stoked!! I am havign a really really hard time sleeping. Was up almost all night last night, but i know it's just around the corner. I have no energy either, but hinestly when i make myself get up and do something, i feel better physically and mentally. Also i have really been tryign to eat well. lot of fruit/veg/salad and protien. Tyring to back off the sugar some. I'm a candy addict too; go figure. It'll come... jsut keep hangin on cus so far you've done excellento!!!
yeah, for sure. the energy thing is bound to cramp your style for a little while. the key thing to remember is that it is TEMPORARY. all the negative aspects of opiate withdrawal are like this. just try, try, try, to keep your mind on other things and it will pass. for me it took 18 days for the worse part to pass. jimbob
