Day 13... Out of the woods, kinda

Hey all!

Day 13 for me today.  Physically feel pretty good.  Tired etc but not to shabby.  The part I wasn't ready for was the Mental warfare that took place day 6-13.  It was BRUTAL.  I've stayed in touch with my doc and he has been great.  I started on wellbutrin last monday and by tuesday night was in bad shape.  Fast forward 5 days and few med changes and i'm getting there.   Just thought I would check in and say thanks again to everyone who helped me.  For those of you detoxing now just remember YOU CAN DO IT!.  Keep going and get thru the worst of it.  C/T is doable. even at 250-300mg a day.  I did it.  No taper!!!

Thanks all!

Mike... Thanks man.  For me personally the mental aspect was MUCH worse then the physical.  I think I was so pumped to get over this crap that I was ready for the physical agony and had that bring it on attitude.  After the worst passed I kinda was not ready for the mental games but its all good.  Im lucky enough to have an amazing wife to help me,  The last 3 days I've been more active and we are actually taking a roadtrip tomorrow to the cape for the day.

Looking forward to getting out of here,  7 days of your life people.  Thats it and your on the mend.  14 days and you will be shocked where you can be physically and mentally.

Good luck all.

NorthEast....its been awesome watching you from a distance these past 2!weeks!! You came out like a Champ! And you are Recognizing so many of the same things i did in my early early days! Ur attitude is always where it should be and your commitment is strong! Thats a great recipe to get through this! Try to keep as busy as possible. Don't sleep in the day and exercise! I neglected to do it daily until recently and i wish i started it earlier. I don't know how your physical strengrh was in the beginning of his but I couldn't do one pushup and just picking up a bottled water was enough to make me breathe heavy and get tired beyond belief!  But we did it and we're doing it! Congrats !!
