Day 2 of being off Lortab

Day 2 of being off Lortab

This is day 2 of no Lortab and I really don't have WD symptoms.  I was taking 4-6 tabs of 7.5 Lortab for 3 years.  I have no body aches, no upset stomach, no restless legs.  I do feel a little bit restless.  Is this normal??  Have the WD's not kicked in yet?

Hi ready,

From personal experience i started to feel the sickness within 8-10 hours of last use...I was snorting 8-10 oxy 80's for 3 years...I'd be physically sick for 4-5 days.  Be wary of the mental cravings that tend to creep up longer term.  But since your use was pretty substantial, you should definitely be into pretty intense physical withdrawal by day 2-3.  maybe you dodged it somehow, or are doing healthy things to make the pain less without even knowing it?  mineral supplements, etc???  Good luck...keep posting.

I'm taking a Multivitamin, B6, B12, Vit. C, St. john's Wart, and L-Tyrosine.  I have a few xanax in case I need them at night but I have not taken them yet.  I have immodium on hand but have not had to use it. I'm just hoping that WD's don't kick in on day 3 or 4.

I'm feeling almost exactly like you right now.  Im a few hours behind you. was on whatever 10/500/650 I could find, towards the end taking up to 20-25 a day.  Instead of restlessness im getting a lot of pain, but hardly any other symptom.  Keep us posted, as will I.  Hopefully we're just getting lucky?  Either way, stay strong, and even if this is a very mild withdrawal, still treat it as though it is difficult, otherwise in the future that could end up being a justification to relapse.

Good luck, and whatever god you pray too help keep you strong.

HI about once a month we get one or 2 people who seam to get a ....'''get out of jail free card''
and experience little or no physical withdrawal I always say its 1/3 physical 2/3 mental be ready to fight it out on the mental side this is the part that most find the most difficult ,,,,we always recommend aftercare of some sort the mind goes threw quit a traumatic experiences after detoxing we need to remember the pills where just a symptom of a much bigger problem
addressing the addiction with recovery care will get you threw this i....if it where just 5 days of the flue and it was over it would be a breeze....work the aftercare and you wont be back her in 6mo doing this again ....I wish you all the best in your recovery become pro active in it  we all want to see you succeed good luck and God bless  Gnarly

Thanks eveyone for the support.

I'm on day 3 (about 60 hours in).  No body aches and i slept through the night.  I do feel a little restless this morning.  @ jkc, I only took the Lortab but on the last day I did take 1 5mg percocet.  I'm hoping that WD is not going to start kicking in now.  I just don't understand why my symptoms seem mild and it makes me restless wondering when it's all going kick in.  Maybe I've read too much about what to expect??

I will do after care. I will never put myself through this again!!!

Congrats on doing so well so far, but keep in mind that a lot of people go through what some might call delayed WD symptoms. WD symptoms that pop up after four to five days after their last dose of the nasty pills we've all had to deal with off and on over time. Mind over matter! You can do this, and keep posting here!

Thanks!!
I hope not...I go back to work Saturday and that will be day 6.  I know my body is going through something but I feel like it's not as bad as some of the other post i have read.  I'm just hoping that all the vitamins, hydration, and bananas are helping.  I know if I can just get through the WD, I will never take another pill.  I know I have a long road ahead but I do not have a prescription and I will not even be around those things again.  I bought them and just took them for fun.  I am very fortunate that I do not have chronic pain and have to take something all the time.  Thanks again for your encouragement and support.

Hey dont think to much about why your not gettting the usual symptoms. Be greatful, read some posts on taking vitamins, drink lots of water, just dont dwell on it. One time I relapsed on heroin for 4days. I was ready to go through hell and I got lucky for whatever reason I had absolutly no withdrawal symptoms and i usually get them after using 1 day taking a few lortabs. So I do know its possible. Keep yourself busy, get some excerise and continue with your life.
