Day 2 of no sub!!!

So I decided to stop takin suboxone I was on 2 mg. I was going 2 go down to crumbs but I woke up yesterday and didn't want it.  So I thought I'd see how bad the wds r and if they weren't 2 bad to go thru with not taking it nemore. I know suboxone has a long half life but I figured I'd at least feel something. Bc 24 hrs after my last dose I'd feel restless legs and the hot and cold thing then I'd take my dose and feel better. It's Ben over 24 hours and I don't feel anything!!! I also prayed to god to help thru this and give me strength in all of this. Could it b he's helpng me? how long until everyone felt the wds after their last dose of suboxone?

Hey girl im so proud of you...I remember you struggling on methadone and feeling traped
sub has been a good choice for you...I will be the first to tell you God can ease your withdrawals ...he dident take mine completely away but I truly believe he was there to get me threw the worst of it....by the length of my habit and as high of dose I was on I should have had sever withdrawals ...it wasn't a walk in the park but nothing compared to most with a habit like mine to break... prayer works....you have done a great job tapering down
and sometimes we just know its time to jump many have jumped off sub at 2mg successfully the withdrawals may be a bit uncomfortable but there very doable
just take it one day at a time...there are lots of ex/sub members out there they should be able to give you a better idea of what to expect...but you will be fine...remember attitude is everything...good luck and God bless.....Gnarly

Ty so I know if I'm not feeling to bad n 2 more days then I got this!! Hopefully that will b the case. I was worried bout jumping from 2 mgs. Alot of people have said to go down to crumbs or the wd will b bad. I was just tired of taking the sub. I didn't want it nemore. I want my life back more then I want the sub!!! Thanks again !!!

72 hrs is the half life of sub..2 mgs was not a high dose
in 2 more days if u feel ok..then u r ok..best to think that way anyway
going back to taper from sub after a few days away is not reasonable
sometimes it comes to us like a bolt of lightning, what we truly want..and we go with it

Well I'm starting 2 feel signs of withdrawls now. I'm feeling emotions I haven't felt n awhile. ( 5 yrs) I'm lovin this feeling. But not lovin the wds. I've been taking vitamins in preparation for this day and still taking vitamins. I'll probally get n the hot tub later to b sure I sleep to ight. I took 2 valerian root and a melantonin 5 and that helps sleep. I'm worried bout the no sleep and feeling weak I can't feel that way At work. My job is very physically demanding. I did it b4 when I was using painkillers. I actually went thru wds from he'll and still managed to work! Don't know how but I did.  I just wanted to share that with everyone.  If ne1 wants to share ur story on how u made it thru ur withdrawls plz feel free to share. Thanks again.

i can only think of the Hylands restful legs ...you know too... the hot baths, apple/orange juices , bananas, ...tonic water..

Ty everyone!! I've taken some vitamins and I toons 4 calcium/magnesium/zinc vitamins and I'll take 4 more around dinner time. Does ne1 have ne other suggustions?

Wow you are doing great!!!! You are right suboxone has a long shelf life. I do not know a whole lot about sub but I do know about methadone and I have been told the withdrawl from sub and methadone is about the same. When I jumped off methadone at only 10mgs, I felt fine for the first four days. I did not start feeling any withdrawl symptoms until day four and then by day five I was in full blown withdrawls. I thought I was gonna die. However, I have been told that it is different for everyone. I have talked to people that have been on the crap for years and taper off and never feel any withdrawl at all. I have also heard the other side of the story where they grind it down all the way down and end up having ugly withdrawls. So there is no way to know for sure. What I do know for sure is that God can do anything!!!!!!!! He could have taken the withdrawl from you. If he has, that is great and it just proves that God is Good all the time and he is very forgiving and will give us all chance after chance after chance. Good luck and God Bless
