Day 21! WOOT!

I  hope everyone is doing WONDERFUL today (even if some of you may not *feel* so wonderful at this temporary moment).  Getting clean is sooo important.  Like someone said in an earlier comment to one of my posts...it is a rebirth and it's so worth all the TEMPORARY stage of withdrawals.  You're all in my thoughts and I'm constantly cheering you on and cant' wait until you get to experience the great miracle that is the real YOU.  As I always say to myself....YOU are a miracle.  Think of the little thing.....a breath you take....think of all it took to get to that point.  Everything that fell into place so you could take THAT breath at THAT second.  Everything fell into the perfect place so you could get to that point....to take THAT breath. In the whole universe, just think of the odds of all that happening!  How can you call yourself anything less than a miracle??  In being that miracle....how could you do anything less that share your awesomeness with the world.....it deserves the true YOU and you deserve all that this world has to offer! <3

My tip of the day.....I think this is SO important.  I can honestly say that because of these things my life has almost done a 180!

Whether you've been clean for years, months, days, hours....do something good (and healthy) for yourself.  Whether it's eating a good meal, taking a walk and getting some sun, creating something beautiful or just laughing...do it!  Then...SHARE!!  Post something here to share and give hope to others, go out into the world and do an act of kindness, give someone a smile or a "Good Morning!", get involved in a charity.....just add something positive to your life and share it with others in some way as well.  Right now not only does your body need healthy and good things coming in, but your soul/inner self needs it too.  Sharing that "good" with others is balance and in that balance you'll find so many great things come together!

I couldn't agree more mlk - during my 90 days my goal was to begin helping others and stepping outside myself.  I have begun volunteering in a domestic abuse shelter, I've joined a new womans group, continued my yoga and life is back again.

For ANYONE reading this board who is scared because of chronic pain to let go of pills (or any reason) I just want to say - start educating yourself on alternate ways to tackle pain - many regular mainstream doctors can't or won't help you - it is up to you to take your life back.  You CAN DO IT.  I'm living proof.

Helping others is sometimes the best way to learn to help yourself.
