Alabama here, didn't take long and I was cutting logs lol.
I'm still sore but I can manage, I told the guy what was going on and he said he had went through it 10 years ago, he was understanding. I missed the meeting because I had to work so I'm looking for some that's later in the afternoon
The best thing you can do is stay busy now. Take our mind off what ails us. Too much idle time is the devils playground when it comes to this addiction. Congrats on your clean time and the new job!! Listen to your body.
Lol!!! I'm from Texas, and I totally get that your tired as all get out. Glad you had a good day. Hope tomorrow is a good one too!! Now kick off your boots and hit the hay!
I think I talk to much lol.
I just put the words down that tumble around in my head, always seems to be a lot of thinking for me.
Had a good day, tired as all get out but I made it. Guess I will know how tired I am by the morning lol
Hang in there brother. It only gets better from here. It seems like only yesterday I was at Day 27 and still wondering if I would feel better. The detox period is over and now the recovery really begins. LIFE!!!! That's what it really is about. You are about to start experiencing a lot more good days than bad and your energy level will keep going up. I'm now on Day 79
and I remember thinking at Day 30 whether I could keep going. Thank God I did. The days turn into weeks and then months and life truly is so much better now than it was then. Stay strong, get to some meetings, and keep reading and posting here. It saved me. You deserve to have your life back without the drugs. JUST FOR TODAY!
Congrats on the new job. Just another way that God let's us know that he will carry this burden for us if we will just let him. We don't need to have a lot of faith in ourselves if we have faith in him. Just know that we are all here with you.
Always with love
Charlie
I would go for it. Do your best! Everything else will fall into place
I forgot to put that I know you got the truck to distract you imagine how good a job will distract you. I know having a schedule and keeping busy is an important part of recovery. I think your ready. Good luck and I'm happy for you!
Hey, I wish I was as good with words and helping people as much as you are lol. I feel like only you know how much your body can handle. I don't know what you will be soon for work but haven't you been walking a ton? That at least shows that your up for physical activity. But listen to your body it will tell you.
Best of luck on the new job .. you never know what will happen in the near future maybe the job is the next thing to tackle you have done s great job of the addiction thus far YOU CAN DO IT..
