Day 2....My skeleton hurts

I'm heading toward 48 hours now......Everything is sore but I feel great in my spirit....My eye is on the prize......What a huge burden that has been lifted from me.....Still sweating and tossing and turning all night....haven't ate hardly anything in over 36 hours but its game on! I will get through this and anyone who reads this can get through it too! Its only a drug and it will not control my life anymore!!!!!!

Keep that positive attitude.  On one hand it's the hardest thing I've ever done - on the other, I've had stomach flu this bad.  I'm hoping I'm almost over the hump at day 4.  I'm shaky enough right now that is's hard to type.  

I know what to do tho  I'm gonna follow my own advice and go take a walk. in the rain, i guess, oh well, that's why God made umbrellas.

Sounds like you are very determined and strong....Day 2 is tough but you sound really great (even though I'm sure you don't feel that well!)  It really does get better and yes, none of us want the drugs to control our lives anymore....Take it back!!!! You are doing great and will continue to do so!

You're doing great! What a lovely reminder that our spirits can soar even when our body is ravaged...You are a true inspiration to me, and I'm sure numerous others in your shoes right now.

If you can get your hands on some popscicles and then graduate to clear broth, your body will appreciate the calories through this fight.

I want to tell .... U R my hero I couldn't go c/t.  I went to a methadone clinic.  I couldn't handle the withdrawal..... it was bad.  So I went the easy way.  But you are fabulous. great job. We all beleive in you and we r all here 4 u.  xxoo
