Hi! I am on day 6. I planned for this to be over in 3! Guess it ain't over until God says it's over. Day 4-5 (yesterday) was WAY better. I still get tiny little reminders that I did just go through 1-5. I am so weak. I keep thinking of all these great things I can go do now that hell has pasted, but I do just a bit and get back on that couch.
This after 10 years of pill obsessions...
Stay with it. The worst is OVER.
All of you guys are great. I have been living on this forum today because it seems like the day I need it the most. It helps to be able to talk to other people who understand exactly what I am going through instead of blaming me for getting back on the pills and playing the "tough love game." I never did understand that. I am already about as low as I can go and am given the tough love act, please. Just leave me alone. You know what I mean?
Congrats on day 3 the toughest! I am on day 8 c/t from morphine and vico. Until day 6 or so I had restless legs at night could not stop moving. It will settle down soon. Keep going and think of taking a hot bath or long hot shower. Hang in there it gets better.
lots of water some vit c and b 6 and 12 help .....there are a few supplements that can help with m,ood and fatigue if you are not on any antidepressant ,L tyrosine ,SAM E or Hpt 5.... L tyro helps with energy ,,,, something like sam e would help lessen the depression.
You can get these at GNC or a vitiman shop.....

if you can stay in bed...go for it..hunker down with good books or a movie and rest.
Hi dear: Weak legs are one of the withdrawal symptoms, You will actually get weaker until the diahreah stops and you can keep food down. Not everyone is plagued by the nausea, but I actually lost weight while going through the w/d's because I was "going" at both ends. Not a great way to lose weight.
In addition to flu-like symptoms, you will experience other symptoms that are kind of strange. I used to sneeze; in sets of 3. I never made the connection, until I read about some others that were sneezing too.
If you (I mean when you) get through this day and the next, you should slowly start feeling better. You'll just have to take it day by day. Lack of energy will still be annoying and normal sleep patterns are slow to return.
I'm not familiar with your story, but if there is anything I can do to help, please ask.
Good luck to you and congrats on making it to day3!
