Day 5 CT from Vicodin

Last night my R hip shot up to a 7, and I sobbed for several hours.  The dog and my husband were pacing.  
  
I had to call my husband Friday to take time off work to drive me for a round of X Rays my surgeon's nurse said I had to overnight.  I was in too much pain to get out again by myself.  The surgeon's nurse said my hip was 'marginal' and if it had progressed at all they were calling off the surgery after a year of being on their waiting list.  They are the only  surgeon in the country who do the type of surgery I need on both hips and required me to be off all pain meds as one of the pre op requirements.

Nothing, except I won't be able to walk or be out of pain and husband laid off at end of December....so maybe really quite a lot of nothing for long time.

It's already been 2 years, and I'm almost insane with pain (even when on Dilaudid and the Fentanyl Patch I still had vicious pain, but I wasn't sobbing).
