Days The Pain Gets Me

Hey all I hate to post, but I tell ya I am having one of those days.

I read Mike's post about his doctor calling and his father -inlaw, and I know what that is like.

Because of my surgeries and my recent car accident there are days that the pain level will
be at 10 or 9..I have found a Doctor that treats me WITHOUT NARCOTICS, but on days
like this when the pain is so great and I know I can call any doctor in
the area and get my norocs it's hard.
I have stayed clean so far but I wonder, when the pain is like this if there was any thing
in front of me I would take it ?   I will go to the doctor today and get my message and heat
and my injection of toradol (thats non narcotic).

Any way thanks forletting me post, just sharing how I am feeling helps take the tempation
away.. A problem shared is half a problem.

Hi lisabean.  Hey you made the right decision. I'm glad you are here with us sharing. I pray that your day improves and the pain goes away. I found in my wds my body really tried some tricks to get me to pick up. But as time went by without opiates my pain is managed by aleve, massage, prayer, and this site.

Ya it's pain that I will have to deal with the rest of my life.  The doctorssay that
as I get older the pain will get worse, but I can learn to manage the pain.  They told
me that I will beable to build up a pain tolerance once again.

After all of those taking pills, my pain tolerance lowered, why didn't the doctors
tell me that in the beggining ?
