Definition help :)

This may be a stupid question, but what do you mean when you refer to "chewing" a drug. I'm confused on alot of the lingo you guys use.  Thanks

They may refer to chewing a drug like OXYCONTIN or MS-CONTIN to change it from a Controlled release or extended release drug to a immediate-release drug

I would chew my oxys(if i had to) or take two spoons and crush them into powder then drink them down with pepsi.  sick but thats what it took to get off.   Today is day 5 and I only pray that oxys are a thing of my past.  god luck to you and God bless
