Dexoxing From Pain medication

Hello Everyone,

Me and my husband are new to this forum, and help from anyone would be a blessing.
We have been married for 4months now, we love eachother more than anything in this world and we have a beautiful daughter. We are living a lie, we have been on lortab for years and it feels like its gotten worse since our marriage. We are going to loose everything(apartment, cars.ect) So yesterday we had a breakdown. We decided  to quit cold turkey, its been oer 24hrs and we are okay. We are still having withdrawls but we havebeen taking vitamins, drinking water, walking, and taking tylenol for our bady aches. Can enyone please give us some more hme remedies to help with all the symptoms? We really appreciate any advise, anyone can give us. Thank you!

How much lortab were you taking before you started your cold turkey? And for how long were you taking it? If you answer these questions I could offer you some useful advice. Please note I dont think a cold turkey is a good thing unless you tapered to a very low dose first. You havent felt anything yet cos it has a long half life, so still in your system, but will hit you shortly!!!

Congrats on taking the first step to getting your life back. What you are doing to minimize the w/d's is good, but there is a w/d recipe called The Thomas Recipe it lists vitamins and enzymes that could help you through. It used to be posted on this page but I don't see it anymore. I used it and it lessened some of the w/d symptoms.  Unfortunately there's no magic bullet for the nasty feelings of w/d's but it does help. I wish you guys luck and I will pray for you both. I know you can make because if I did so will you. I am now 121 days clean fro oxycontin. So God Bless you and keep on keepin on----quitinoxys
