Did they detox me to fast?

I was in treatment for benzo and opiate abuse for 28 days.  They detoxed me with suboxone and stopped it after 7 days.  I have been abusing benzos for 17 years and they detoxed me in 7 days.  From what I am hearing what they did was cruel and inhumane.  Now I am high risk for seizures and am suffering from EVERY benzo withdrawal symptom in the book.  Did they detox me to fast in your opinion?

From what I hear it was pretty fast.  If you are having lots of trouble can you see another doc?  Are you 28 days clean now?

I haven't used anything since the beggining of may.  I saw a psychiatrist who specialized in detox and addictions and she decided to give me five 5mg tabs of Valium.  I had to call her today because i felt like I was going to die.  She told me too take a Neurontin and a Valium.  I took them about 45mins ago and I am feeling better already.

If you are feeling terrible w/d I would say "yes" I think they did detox you too quickly. Were you in rehab for 28 days...I'm not quite understanding what your time frame is?  Is there a  doctor you could contact about this because from what I understand, benzo w/d can be dangerous! Please get some medical attention ok?

Benzo's are dangerous - more so then opiates.  All kinds of side affect's.  I am not sure how long you have to worry about them though.  Please ask your doc if you are out of danger.  I would assume that she knows already but I would just ask her to be sure.

Wow you have some time off and are still going through this.  I'm glad you are feeling better at the moment.... we didn't get hooked that quick and we aren't going to get unhooked that quick... do as least as possible to get by?  I know that benzos are tough!  We have a job to do and that is to be free of these pills.  I am glad that you have started the process and take heart in that.
