Do any of you feel like this?

I have been out of the hospital after detox for 7 wks now ,And I 'am still exhausted and still shake inside a little. I feel like my head is in a cloud and cant think clear at all. I've been told this could last a very long time. I detoxed off of opiate's after 9 months from cancer treatment. Has anybody gone through a very long period before they felt normal again?

Heck yes!!  N.A talks alot about the 90 day mark for a reason. It takes some time for the body to recover from the drugs and Holy cow I think it would be more important for you to give yourself alittle extra recovery because of the cancer.

They surely have. Keep walking and get some exercise. Also I would highly recommend the Amino Acid Protocols. Some Amino's are as good as some anti depressants and they come without the extra baggage. Several are good for energy and to clear that cotton candy brain feeling. Sometimes it does just take time also.........best of the weekend to you!

I've only been off Lortab for 16 days and I still feel groggy and sometimes can't think straight - although it gets better every day.  I have heard from many people that it's true this can last a long time.  I have a friend who went through this and she said exercise helped her to feel better faster.  I started walking and stretching - it seems to help clear my mind.  Maybe give it a try?

Good luck!!!
