Does Fentanyl withdrawl cause speech difficulty?

by birdymom60, Oct 27, 2009 01:32PM
I have a medtronic pain pump that malfunctioned and I went into terrible withdrawl, I could speak but jus could not get my words out in the right order, I tried writing and just didn't make sense.  Is this a normal symptom of withdrawl from fFntanyl?

Gosh, you should discuss this with your doctor right away. Fentanyl is a very strong opiate but what you are describing doesn't sound like a normal WD symptom. I mean, it is different for everyone, and we can all relate to our brains not working quite right while in withdrawal, but this dissociative condition sounds like something you need to get to the bottom of. Good luck.
