Does Wellbutrin help with Vicodin withdrawal?

I remember when I tried getting off Darvocet a couple of years ago, my dr. prescribed Wellbutrin to help me taper.  I never went off them, but does anyone know if this heps with Vicodin withdrawal?  I aso suffer from depression and Wellbutrin is supposed to help with that also.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I can't speak for all people but I can say it (Webutrin) has helped me.  There are other drugs that help too like Clonidine and crazy as it sounds Seroquel helped me allot!

Do not under any cirumstances let anyone give you Suboxone to help with the the w/d's from Darvocet.  That's like killing a fly with a shotgun.  Sub is a horrible drug and they gave that to me to get off Vicodin.  The Sub was way worse than the Vicodin was.  Anyway all the drugs I've listed above have helped me and helped me noticeably.  I'd say they cut the w/d time in half at the very least!
